Miles of Freedom: Founded by Richard Miles, a man falsely incarcerated for 15 years for a crime he didn’t commit. In 2009, Mr. Miles was released by the State of Texas and fully exonerated in 2012. In response to his time as an inmate, he established Miles of Freedom to “create a productive Bridge of Transition for individuals, families, and communities impacted by incarceration and to facilitate growth and acceptance to become Motivating, Inspiring, Law-Abiding, Enthusiastic, and Successful citizens.”
