Today we are so excited to celebrate our newest partnership!! Miles of Freedom Strengthens its Reentry Assistance Services with
and the Power of Change!!!
Why is it necessary to rethink reentry in today’s society? Richard Miles addresses his experience with the unjust legal system in this compelling and inspirational TED talk.
After his exoneration and subsequent release from prison, Miles started his own nonprofit organization– Miles of Freedom– which helps former inmates with rehabilitation and re-entry into society. He has a compelling personal story of hope and determination in the face of adversity and first-hand experience with issues of mass incarceration and wrongful conviction in the United States.
Miles of Freedom is very excited to announce that we were selected by Communities Foundation of Texas Emerging Leaders in Philanthropy Cohort to receive a $10,000 grant to support our mission!! Thank you so much for your confidence in our work!!
This is a great win and we could not have done it without our Development and Engagement Manager, Brian Washington. Thank you for bringing it home, Mr. Washington!!
